DB2 :SQL is returning the alternative names instead of column names

Hello All

I am connecting to the IBM DB2 via db2connect driver.

During my dynamic query building , I am using Select * to get the column
names and it is returning the alternative names( Employee_Name) instead of
system field name( EMPID).

Is there any setting in connection string to return the system name
instead of alternative names?

Any help would be appreciated.
