Just thinking out loud would there be an easy way to wrap an rpg program so
you could call it from a web interface and return the output in a number if
formats?

For example let's say you could call it via a rest interface and it returns
a html link that gives you various options such as csv, excel, pdf, html,
data table etc

That's why I mentioned it. ;)

But a straight simple CGI call may be easier if you already have an apache
instance up and running. IWS may be overkill.

Thank you. IWS. I go on and on about how useful it is and then you
suggest IWS.... shheeesh.

Again, thank you. I love programming but I am coming face to face with
the reality that I may be the last guy here who has flucked a deck.

Should be as easy as making a call to the program. You just need to
make
sure the program that makes the call returns the appropriate response
to
the browser so it can report success/failure.

IWS should work, or straight CGI.
