Bradley Stone's BVStools GetUri.  Easy peasy.  Nice code,reasonable price, he is quick to respond. 

Vertex?  Has a tool for that also.
I am a user of his tools.

Or Scott Klement's HTTPAPI  - a bit more to learn, but open source.

OS past v7r1?  Systools GET/POST clob tools are quite easy.  Had a hard time with them and https on V7r1.
