First, thank you for your response.

The issue that has confused me most, I believe, is that just about every
resource I have found so far devotes the first 2/3s, and more, of the
article to defining and explaining XML, WDSL, and JSON. This is not an
issue for me. I've cleared those hurdles and am becoming comfortable
with sending and receiving JSON data with files in the IFS.

My problems, so far as I can tell, are involved in setting up the
servers. I believe I am looking for an interview styled wizard. I also
believe the IWS is intended to be that interview but it is overwhelming
me. At the moment I am suspicious that I best learn more about
Swagger. That is my next goal.
