This is what I have in my program:
begsr JSON_Save;
if (success);
httpStatus = 200;
else;
httpStatus = 500;
endif;
CharVar = 'Status: ' + %char(httpStatus) + CRLF
+ 'Content-type: text/plain' + CRLF
+ CRLF;
QtmhWrStout( charVar : %len(charVar): err );
yajl_copyBuf( CCSID
: %addr(bigCharVar)
: %size(bigCharVar)
: length );
yajl_genClose();
QtmhWrStout( bigCharVar : length: err );
endsr;
I believe that is an accurate copy/paste of Scott's example. Typos get
past me, but I checked more than three times.
Is it possible that there is a library issue? When I sign in I have to
edit my library list to include YAJL. So how would a web service know
to add YAJL?

Yes, Booth. This is the part that writes the headers:...
CharVar = 'Status: ' + %char(httpStatus) + CRLF
+ 'Content-type: text/plain' + CRLF
+ CRLF;
QtmhWrStout( charVar : %len(charVar): err );
