If the AddType line in your config just has .php (which is the default)
then I don't think it will run over any other extension. The only apps
we have on the IBM i use zend framework and they all load the selves
through the index.php. On some of my linux boxes we have changed the
AddType to have .phtml also, and then mixed pages get that extention.

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml

Unfortunately, it appears that it does not.

Another thing I noticed, straight PHP runs (e.g. helloWorld.php), but
PHP
embedded in HTML does not (e.g. helloWorld.html). The PHP code
doesn't
run or display, but it's visible in the source in the browser.

Not sure if FastCGIServerID affects the socket file or not.
