From my previous testing the way you're doing it won't work from Windows.

I believe you need to configure a CGI server within an Apache instance.

Google for developerworks or Aaron Bartells examples.

I've decided to just work with Node and itoolkit.js on Windows. I was able to make a connection to the IBM i, but had problems with the iCmd class. I started another email thread, but I'm waiting to see the results of trying to include JS code in an email to the listserv.

Thanks,

Should work possibly.

You'll need to configure the CGI service and a web instance on i so that you can hit XMLSERVICE remotely via the selected Apache instance port.
