What is used shouldn't make a difference.. it's just HTTP traffic doing the
download between the two systems.

Should work fine as long as your up speed from your ISP is Large enough.
If not, I offload big downloads to google and use their pipe as mine is
sort of a smaller upload speed (which is their download).

We are starting a project to let anonymous internet users download files
through a web application.
Our web product is ASNA WINGS. It uses Open Access RPG.
ASNA WINGS allows you to import your DDS to an ASPX then use special ANSA
ASP.NET controls to run things like subfiles and such.

The size of the files will be fairly large, but not sure how large since
we are still at the discussion stage with this.

My question is, has anyone had any success doing real time downloads via
the web with large files?
We do have web software with ASNA WINGS that takes files from the user's
PC to the I, but the files are small.
I am told it uses java script to make this happen.
I need to find the code and possibly use the java script, but thought I
would see if anyone has any other suggestions.
We also have users that will get a sign on to an FTP site and copy the
file from there, but are leaning towards an anonymous real time download.

My understanding is I can reference a class in my code behind of ASNA
WINGS.
The language we use in the code behind is a language that ASNA developed
called AVR. It is .NET for RPG.

Thanks.
