Were the existing servers created on older OS's? IIRC, there were Apache changes made in 7.2 or 7.3.

We have various web services served thru Apache(v2.4) and Websphere Application server (v8.5) on the IBM i. These web services are for internal use. We have implemented security on these web services using the <Location> directive and specifying the ip addresses of the servers that are allowed to call them. This has worked successfully for many years. This past week, we started to implement two new servers. I entered the ip addresses in the config file like normal to grant access to the web services they needed. They were receiving a 403 error (forbidden) and we couldn't figure out why. Then, we looked at the Apache log access log file and discovered that the server name was showing up in the log file instead of the ip address.
Ex.
10.4.0.99 - - [10/Jul/2017:09:31:36 -0400] "POST /GWInnovueWebInquiry/services/MyWebService1 HTTP/1.1"
Ntserver999.everence.com - - [10/Jul/2017:09:31:42 -0400] "POST /PVRateCalcWebInquiry/services/MyWebService2 HTTP/1.1"
The first line is what we are used to seeing. The second line is what started showing up for the new server. I added the server name to the Apache config file to give it access, but we are confused why the name would start showing up instead of the ip address. Anyone have any ideas?
