Tom: check the "trusted zones" in yours and others to compare

Hi Tom

Not sure about other people reading this but I have very little idea what you are talking about here. Can you provide a bit more detail otherwise I fear you'll get no useful response.

I can run this file:// from IE 11 Windows 10. I do not have the IP
address in trusted sites internet or intranet. I have enable protected
mode off in local intranet. The IP shown is to the I then to the IFS.

The problem is, I seem to be the only person in the office who can run this.
If anybody else clicks the link that brings up the path shown, it just
pops back. Does not give any type of error.

Other users appear to be setup the same. If I send a non-operative
user the link without the file://, they can bring the text file up by
clicking on the link. Missing some setting in IE 11 that makes it
work for me and not for others. If I try it in Chrome, it just pops
back, only works in IE 11 for me. Just thought someone might know what makes file:// work in IE 11.
Thanks.
