The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Write yourself a little Windows tool to grab the text via Javascript from the browser via automation and then paste the text.
Or you have commercial options like our Office Integrator component where you can embed a CL command to do the Office Mail Merging and label creation for you perhaps and make their life even easier because no more copy/paste needed 😊

subject: [WEB400] Copy text from 5250 versus a web page.
I have a user that lassos a name and address from an existing 5250 screen and pastes it into WORD to print a label. It keeps the text in vertical alignment like it appears on the screen.
We are in the process of switching them to a web product. When I attempt the copy and paste from the web page, it pastes the text concatenated all together in one line.
I would like to be able to give the user the same ease of use that he has with the 5250 copy and paste, but not sure how to do that.
