They have not changed machines in many years, but yes, there are members
in QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTC with names corresponding to the server instances
HTTP servers were running a few weeks ago, but I am told that they IPLed
recently and servers have not worked since.
As for job logs, I don't see any job logs for any QHT* users,.
It looks like the STRTCPSVR command just doesn't even try to do anything.

Are the servers defined in
QUSRSYS/QATMHINSTC *FILE PF-DTA HTTP SERVER INSTANCE FILE
Very common error if the server definitions are restored from another
system.

If I had to guess given you can't get *ADMIN going there may be an
authority issue with the profile trying to start the servers or the
that operates the servers themselves. The job logs as mentioned bysomeone
else should be generated when these calls are failing. Great place toWhen
start.

Hi all - I am dealing with an old V5R4 system and can not start any HTTP
servers. Subsystem QHTTPVR is active, and so is QSYSWRK and QUSRWRK.
I do a STRTCPSVR *HTTP for any individual server, or for *ADMIN, or for
*ALL nothing happens. I can't find any error message anywhere, but
nothing starts. Any ideas where to look for the problem?
