Good News Everybody!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

If it's having issues with HTTPS it could be the port doesn't automatically
default to 443 on the request or the Certificate Authorities used by the
HTTPS site aren't in your *SYSTEM store and it doesn't "trust" the
certificates in use. Although the error is quite obtuse as to the actual
problem.

Have you looked into using a different product for making HTTP/HTTPS
requests that have better support? Our GETURI software (
http://www.bvstools.com/geturi.html) which has both command and ILE
interfaces or Scott's HTTPAPI (https://www.scottklement.com/httpapi/) would
probably let you get a lot further in less time.

Sorry for the late reply.

Okay thanks. I will do that.
I posted it in developerworks at first but Jon Paris asked me to post it in
midrange.com, mentioning that midrange.com has a lot of experts around to
help. :-)

I tried running this SQL

SELECT *

This is from the job log.

Message ID: CPF503E
Date sent: 16/07/25 Time sent: 14:06:59
Message: User-defined function error on member QSQPTABL.
Cause: An error occurred while invoking user-defined
function HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSE in library SYSTOOLS. The error occurred
while invoking the associated external program or service program
B2RESTUDF: in library SYSTOOLS.D, program entry point or external
name com.ibm.db2.rest.DB2UDFWrapper.httpPostClobVerbose, specific
name HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSENONXML. The error occurred on member QSQPTABL
file QSQPTABL in library QSYS2. The error code is 1. The error codes
and their meanings follow:
1 -- The external program or service program returned
SQLSTATE 38000. The text message returned from the program is:
SYSTOOLS.HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSE HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSENONXML
ãjava.lang.ArrayIn

[changed my mind; sending this from my drafts]

The above information for ErrCde1 was truncated; presumably:
SYSTOOLS.HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSE HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSENONXML ã
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of range: 64 .

Note: the replacement data for the qualified service program name is
corrupted; clearly a defect: "program B2RESTUDF: in library SYSTOOLS.D"
presumably should have been diagnosed as "program DB2RESTUDF in library
SYSTOOLS".

If I change it to use http, it is fine.

Any ideas?

Consider posting on midrange-l instead.? [further comment here was
placed instead, in my other recent reply to this thread]

FWiW: if making multiple postings across fora for a specific issue,
probably worthwhile to include a link to those other topic threads [or at
least maintain the same visible nym as text within the postings] when
posting to an additional forum, so a reader can know, rather than merely
presume, that the discussions are duplicates; for reference to an
apparently duplicate topic on another forum:
