Not sure. Probably too complex for a simple task. If you're an RPG shop
then RPG and the Apache server is hard to beat for ease of implementation
and actual speed. 1000 thousand requests in a day is nothing. :)

XML if SOAP, JSON if not. If using JSON the YAJL Port that Scott Klement
did is superb.

Seems like a nice straightforward project!
