Initiated by a question in the EASY400 group I used a couple of hours tobe
construct an example on how to extract data from a HTML table into a
XML object for use in AJAX calls.
It consists of two generic javascript functions that transforms a table
body
to an XML document and a simple javascript function that eliminates the
XML data that doesn't have to be send to the server.
It walks through a table body and creates an XML document based on the
exsistance of an 'xmlelement' attribute in the td's. The td's can either
displayable, hidden or input.--
Afterwards it is possible to process the constructed XML document and
eliminate the rows that hasn't to be send to the server.
I use it myself to extract multiple selected rows without having to
construct
a big form with a lot of multiple occurencies.
