I'm currently accomplishing this with a DB2 external stored procedure. The input/output files are handled via QNTC to a Windows file share. The Windows people have informed me that they're pulling the plug on the Windows share. They are not open to other file transfer protocols like FTP or NFS. They insist that I must pass the files on the app call. I looked into the possibility of doing this in the existing stored procedure, but that doesn't look practical to me.

I have a CGIDEV2 web app that does something similar, so I'm thinking about trying what amounts to a RESTful webservice using CGIDEV2. Does that sound like it would work? Any better suggestions?
