don't explain, answer the questions

This is my first time ever seeing Henrik stumped ;-)

Kelly,

It appears to that you are considering the following architectural options:

1. SPAs <==> IIS <==> ASP.NET <==> QZDASOINIT <==> Stored Procedures
(COBOL) <==> IBM i DB

2. SPAs <==> IBM i HTTP <==> IWS <==> COBOL Procedures <==> IBM i DB

3. SPAs <==> IBM i HTTP <==> Web Service Utility <==> IBM i DB <==> DB
Event Handlers (COBOL)

The Stored Procedures in option 1 would be optional.

The main focus has been on server-based web service alternatives. SPA
details could be quite entailed, apt for a new thread.

Would that be a good summary of what you are considering?
