Yes, you can "Import" a certificate issued from IBM i Digital Certificate
Manager by using Internet Options --> Content Tab --> Certificates Push
Button --> Import... Push Button.

Internet Options is found in Windows Control Panel, or can be launched from
the IE Tools link.

Does anyone have any experience getting the IE browser to trust a self
issued certificate on IBM i?

FireFox has a nice capability to accept a self-issued certificate upon
first access. Not so with IE and I'm trying to find a way to get IE to
stop issuing a warning message when accessing a site on my IBM i that is
perfectly trustworthy.
