Re: How to set page encoding to UTF-8

Hi,

here is the basic rules:

any writing of a buffer should start with a CONTENT-TYPE header in EBCDIC
followed
by two CRLF and then a body that can be EBCDIC or any other non-EBCDIC
CCSID
(ASCII/UTF-8/BINARY)

a) if CONTENT-TYPE is TEXT/.... without the CHARSET property Apache will
translate
the body from the job EBCDIC to the defaultNetCCSid (either 819 or 1208)

- 819 will send text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1
- 1208 will send text/html; charset=UTF-8

b) if CONTENT-TYPE is TEXT/.... with the CHARSET property Apache will make
NO
translation of the body.

c) if CONTENT-TYPE isn't TEXT/.... Apache will make NO translation of the
body

"View Page Info" on the page in Firefox, I see that the page's encoding

How can I change this so that the page's encoding becomes UTF-8?
