I've got ZendSvr running thanks to support at Zend. Pretty cool that they
provide support for free for one year.
Wordpress login screen comes up but it just freezes up when logging in.
Any ideas appreciated. Jack

By default,
Apache logs are here: /www/zendsvr/logs
PHP logs are here and in Zend Server admin interface:
/usr/local/zendsvr/var/log/php.log
I believe that Wordpress itself has no log but supports a login plugin to
let you capture user access information.

I finally got phpmyadmin working. I had to edit the user id and password
in the php.ini file.
I installed wordpress.
I went to dev:10088/wp-login.php and got a login screen. I entered the
user admin and the correct password, clicked login and it never moves
forward. Where can I find logs or info on what is happening?
I also tested by using the wrong user id and password and it said invalid
user/pass.
Thanks, Jack

The packaging for ZendDBi is restricted to i6.1 and higher. But the MySQL
distro that is embedded in Zend Server which can be installed after you
installed Zend Server can run on V5R4.
Hope this helps!

OK, V5R4 sets a stage, You can still do it if you installed MySQL with the
Zend Server.
Did you get in and set the root password for the localhost and create
users in MySQL for the host name?
Commands enclosed in [ ] since double quotes can be part of the command;
You'll have to use [mysqld_safe -user=mysql &] to start the MySQL deamon
Enter [mysqladmin version] to verify it's running Enter [ mysqladmin -u
root password "mypassword" ] to set root password Enter [ mysqladmin -u
root -h localhost "mypassword" ] to set the root password for the local
host.
Enter [mysql -u root -p ] It will prompt for the password you just set.
If that works you should be good to go.
Now try phpMyAdmin with the root password.
BTW: ZendDbi came out for V5R4 a while back, although you may not be able
to download it anymore.

If that's the case we're stuck until the upgrade.

I'm thinking you might need to install ZendDBi. That's the supported
MySQL now by both IBM and Zend.
It might also be time to push this over to WEB400.

I can't get to phpmyadmin though.

Now the question is did you install ZendDBi and is the MySQL
deamon
engine
In your case I would stay with the MySQL version to avoid any
other unpleasant things you'll need to deal with.
If you do want to use DB/2 then yes, you have to change the
database
prior to running the installation.
