Ok...after much wailing and gnashing, I realized that the parameter that's
being passed from my PHP script to my i service program procedure is ASCII.
I wrote the value to a log file and then displayed it in hex, and sure
enough, it's 303131 - I'd much rather have it be F0F1F1, or even 011F.
Anyway, I obviously need to translate from ASCII to EBCDIC. Is the reason
it's not being done automatically is because the system value QCCSID is set
to 65535? Any way around this other than me actually doing a translation?
