And to all american listners in this tread - this is danish dialog
translated into english - there are
no polite filters such as "how are you", "IMHO" and "in all due respect" -

disrespect - we just don't agree

Niels,

let's make this straight - I did Way2trade back in 2002 and it still has
thousands of users, you did
Icebreak - we tried to merge them technically in 2008 - and we failed
after 8 month - out of that
came IceCAP and powerEXT - it is as simple as that. And yes I learned - I
learned how not to
do it - THANKS ;-)

Jim;

"PupFish" was originally my initiative back in 2006 to make a
collaborative IBMi framework based on ExtJs to run on top of the IceBreak
server. PupFish was an internal working title only know by IBM and a few
ISV's in Denmark. It was meant to be an open source project and was given
initially to the "iGRUPPEN" a group of IBMi individuals. A project
partially sponsored by IBM and partially by Systems & Methods.

I know that Henrik gained a lot from that project, and embraced ExtJs
later in that process, and his PowerExt has flourished out of the PUPFISH
project….

From the most recent threat about IBM i Web development, I would like
to
initiate a collaborative project where we bring client-side and

solutions together. These could be individual or vendor solutions. I’m
interested in collaborating with an individual or vendor on a project
that
would merge your client-side UI solution (build with jQuery/ExtJS, or
just
HTML5) and IceBreak on the server-side and run as a complete IBM i Web
environment. With today’s model of separating the client-side and
server-side tiers, I believe that such a project would be very
beneficial.
As mentioned, the client-side UI or IDE would be built using jQuery,
ExtJS
or just plain HTML5 and the IceBreak server-side RPG program would
generate
the necessary JSON from client requests. If anyone, individual or
vendor,
has a client-side UI or IDE that would be interested in a test project,
please let me know off-line.
