First Data is the biggest PITA to set up. Good luck!

We wasted two days trying to set it up on another developers computer and
didn't get it running. That doesn't count setting up on the Windows Server
that we decided not to since we were changing services anyway.

Can someone please point me to an idiots guide ('cos this SSL stuff makes

Right now my need is to set up the IBM i so I can use the First Data
Global Gateway.

I have obtained a certificate for the box from Comodo and that has been
installed by the good Dr. F. - although my Mac insists that it is untrusted
- I'm not sure why.

I have obtained a test account from First Data but ...

They have sent me a bunch of files of type .key and .pem - I can find how
to instal the .pem file in Windows - even on the Mac - but what the heck do
I do with them for the IBM i? Needless to say First Data are convinced that
everyone uses Windows! The instructions don't recognize the existence of
any other platform.

I have a php script running to the server and log shows that the
communication goes through OK, but it throws an authentication error.

I have googled my little brains out, tried to understand the IBM docs -
but sadly it is as if the First Data and the IBM docs were written in two
different languages. They can't apparently use the same word to describe
the same things.
