Apache Aliasmatch with wildcard

Im trying to get this

ScriptAlias /restsrv1 /qsys.lib/mylib.lib/restsrv1.pgm

to use wildcards so that a single alias can match a series of programs. I've tried various things but can't get it to work.

This was my latest effort - but it gives a not found error.

ScriptAlias /restsrv(.*)/ /qsys.lib/mylib.lib/restsrv$1.pgm

Am I just misunderstanding what I can do with aliasmatch ?
