The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

I have taken a look at phoneGap.
Although it's been a while since I looked at phoneGap ... and maybe I misunderstood something about it ... but I think you still need to buy a Mac and sign up with the Apple developer program to be able to create applications for the iPhone.
I wouldn't doubt it, at least for the native version of the
applications. I'm still a bit hazy; I think you can create
browser-based apps, but then you have to do some sort of compile stage
to get to the native applications. I have lots of initial concerns.
For example, in order to send an email in iOS, it seems you need a
"plugin". The plugin is written in Objective-C. What's with that?
Also, I did a quick peek and it turns out the documentation renders
REALLY poorly in IE8.

If your product is supposed to be cross-platform, having illegible
documentation in IE doesn't bode particularly well to me.
