I am running a 6.1 and a 7.1 partition so at least for Glassfish, yes.
You'll need a 32bit JVM and GF 3.1.1 requires Java 6 or higher. I
invoke a shell script for both my Tomcat and GF installations so, yes,
it is running in PASE.
FWIW it seems like every release of IBM i and each group PTF of Java
improves performance.
