An excellent point...

But it should be mentioned that even in this day and age, it's
possibly that having the ordering down when the i is down may be
perfectly acceptable. Assuming that the web site serves as a B2B
extranet site, as opposed to a public web site, one may not need
24x7x365.

Even for a public web site, real 24x7x365 may be more $$$ than the OP
would want to spend.
