Surely this is off topic. It has nothing directly to do with WEB development on the i.
The fact that a lot of people on this list know about regex is totally irrelevant ... a lot of people on this list drive cars, but it's not appropriate to ask about how often to change your oil.

I need to find a regular expression that matches email addresses.
I've got one that mostly works ... but not entirely.
'/[\w\.-]+@[\w-\.]+\.[\w\.]{2,5}/'
The problem is, it doesn't understand when there is a plus sign in the email address (like david+list@xxxxxxxxxxxx).
If I change the regex to be '/[\w\.-\+]+@[\w-\.]+\.[\w\.]{2,5}/', it doesn't match anything.
Any suggestions?
