Probably the fastest way:

Go to QShell
Change to WAS_HOME/bin
Type versionInfo

It will print the installed version of the base product, along with any feature packs.

Subject: [WEB400] Is there such a thing as Help, About to see what service pack you have?

I know that doing a WRKPTFGRP isn't sufficient to know the service pack currently applied to your websphere. Because there is often an install step like:
http://tinyurl.com/fixpack70-html
http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/websphere/wsappserver/services/fixpack70.html
So, how do you check to see if that is applied?
If you have to check an individual server, is there some way to check before you create one?
