Don't wait for an invitation. I can't tell you how many of my customers
are doing PHP as a skunk-works project. I have yet to hear about an RPG
programmer who got fired because he was doing his RPG work and moonlighting
with PHP for additional business solutions. :-)

I have lunch and after hours. I think the question is whether I can get
reasonable web experience through osmotic exposure to various tutorials.
So far, my stuff looks like an 8 year old copied a tutorial he found on
the web.
Google is no substitute for honest experience.
