Got it.

I'm still a little turkey hungover <grin>. I should have read the options as:

1. DB/2
2. MySQL using DB/2 engine
3. Other IBM i functions

Jus' a little slow this morning. Off to Black Friday sales...

Joe

Joe,

What you suggest certainly fits within the offer, our goal is to be sure
the PHP code involves the IBM i system in some way. That's what's
important. How is up to the developer. In this specific case the PHP
would be accessing an IBM i function to call RPG, hence the phrase
"...other IBM i functions..."!

2. Post one open source program that:
* Is original
* Runs on IBM i
* Works!
* Performs a non trivial task
* May be written in RPG, CL, COBOL, JAVA or PHP ( for the
purposes of this offer PHP is included as long as it
accesses DB/2 and/or MySQL where the data engine is DB/2 or
other IBM i functions, a data queue maybe?) .
Jim, I think you should also include PHP code that calls RPG. Using PHP
as a thin client over RPG business logic fits what you're trying to
promote, doesn't it?
