Gents;

What is the difference between jQtouch and jQ for mobile? Is it same - same? We have used jQtouch (beta) for some time together with IceBreak and are quite impressed - but the" jQ for mobile" looks more "polished" - is It just the final product name for the first release or is it another product? I can't find any comparison guide on the web.

Best regards

I knocked out a simple web app on the way home on the plane last
night. I need to do a few tweaks and I should be ready.

But, it's only a web app (simple). What I want to do is to take the
same app an make it a true local app on the phone using the local sqlite
DB to store the info. I already do something similar with a time clock
app I have so it shouldn't be too hard to do but there is a huge
difference between a mobile web app knocked out with jQuery and a phone
app using PhoneGap and jQuery. Hope have both, and the step by step
instructions, soon (like, this week).

Sounds like another mobile possibility.

Let us know how your prototype goes.

If you put up a live site I would be happy to try it from a Blackberry and iPad device.

subject: [WEB400] jQuery for Mobile

Since there has been some discussion along these lines I am passing along the availability of jQuery for Mobile found here http://jquerymobile.com. Taking a look right now and hope to have a prototype to play with this week.

Man, this is such a fun technology to play with!
