Don,
There are certainly examples on the Net.data forum which demonstrate rendering a page as Excel.
The significant factor is using DTW_PRINT_HEADER=NO and coding your own http header at the start of the response so that it contains the http headers the browser expects when it is being served an Excel document. After the header, the body of the response simply needs to be a set of standard csv records which is exactly what a %REPORT block returns if you specify $(VLIST).
Because the header indicates an Excel application then it displays the response as an Excel application instead of HTML.

Subject: [WEB400] Net.data to Excel

Is there any kind of feature or command in Net.data that will take a
simple displayed list and "paste" it neatly into Excel?
