On i, you can just add additional IP addresses to the same interface (LIND) using ADDTCPIFC. But be aware that i does not have VLAN tagging to the LIND if you were considering multiple networks or a trunk line to the interface.

On i, virtual addresses are considered something else, more like what Cisco and Linux call loopback addresses. They reside in the machine, not on the nic (LIND). You route to i virtuals through multiple nics (LIND).
