I am aware that the i can run Linux in a separate partition, but that is severely overkill if all you want to do is to run a binary or two.
Well, it's quiet easy to set up a Linux partition. It's no different
than having a Linux machine on your network. Sure, it's not quite as
convenient as being able to fire up a PASE job with an RPG call, but as
long as you have a decent communications infrastructure it's just as good.
