Peter - that's a good question, but the answer, unfortunately, is I don't
know. None of the PDFs that we create are that big. I can tell you that
we originally had some problems creating PDFs that were around 2-3M - it
took too long to create and the HTML page requesting the PDF would time
out. We fixed that by adding set_time_limit(120); to the page that
creates the PDF.

BTW - I'm pretty happy with Zend Server. I'd used net.data for the last
five years or so, but the handwriting is on the wall for that product. I
switched to Zend about 18 months ago, and - other than the learning curve
for PHP itself - found it easy to use and works well.

Re: [WEB400] problem with FPDF and PHP

Larry,
I have not yet experienced Zend Server but would be very keen for feedback
on how well the PDF rendering within PHP copes with larger PDF files like
10Mb for example.
Our present solution effectively transforms HTML to PDF using PD4ML but
the java croaks, eventually, under such loading.

Subject: [WEB400] problem with FPDF and PHP

This is weird. I am using FPDF with Zend Server's PHP to create a PDF and

display it in the browser. Everything is fine until I select the Send
Page by Email option in Internet Explorer. The email attachment that gets

generated leaves out a lot of the data. It seems to be that only the PDF
that was created in the Header and Footer functions is included, although
I am not sure that is what is happening. If I take the IE option to save
the file, it is fine; if I then email that file as an attachment, it is
also fine.

Anybody have a clue?
