Yes you can download it and do whatever you like with it. Those who have provided feedback etc have done so by registering on our forum and posting it up there: http://www.coraltree.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=111

Subject: Re: [WEB400] IBM i GUI Frameworks

For us, the features in the RNS Framework are very much driven by the
requirements of the applications we have that use it, which in turn are
driven by the requirements of the customers who use them.

So far the same is true for OpenRPGUI. A guy only really knows a feature is
warranted once it has come up a number of times during real world
development - otherwise I could theorize all day and not come up with
anything useful :-)

RNS is also now heavily integrated with jQuery and jQuery UI - and I am not
sure how that sits with OpenRPGUI. Certainly trying to combine jQuery with
powerExt (ExtJS) seems like it might be overcomplicating both to an
unnecessary degree.

Sounds like I could learn many things from you guys as that is a framework
(jQuery) I am hoping to use with OpenRPGUI in the future. The things I
don't like about ExtJS is the initial download size (500KB +) and the dual
commercial license I always have to mention - though once you use ExtJS for
a couple projects it is much easier to justify the small developer license
cost because of the huge time savings. But if I could do all of the same
things with jQuery then I would be quite happy.

Would you be opposed to me incorporating portions of Ren into OpenRPGUI? My
approach is different than Ren, but I think there are portions of the Ren
code that would greatly benefit OpenRPGUI (obviously, since Ren has a much
more complete code base at this point). My hope would be to utilize some of
the Ren code and offer back any improvements if you have a mechanism for
that (I didn't see one popping out at me on the website).
