Hi Arron;

Thanks for your reply; Thanks to evaryone else for their reply also,

<I am wondering if you can tell us what you are trying to accomplish so we
<can give better feedback. There are lots of ways to accomplish what you
are
<asking, but we need context as to whether this is a browser app, an XML
web
<service, etc.

The goal I'm after is to prove to management that web pages can be served
from the iseries using RPG. I've done it before at other installations,
and would like to show management we can do it here.

Management is asking me what information needs to be provided to
operations people to accomplish the task.
for example they will need to know where we store the html, image files
used on web pages.
I thought answere to these other questions might be useful also.

1) Should programs that are called thru the client URL be in a special
library, or can they just continue to reside in the normal library list?
2)I understand that two properties make a server instance unique, the host

name, and the port. We only have on iseries(host),
So I guess we will be depending on the port to make server instances
unique. Correct?
3) How are instances usually setup, according to applications like
accounting applications, insurance applications etc?
4) Would appreciate knowing about a manual that might answer some of
these questions.
5) Would appreciate knowing some questions I should have asked.

Regards,
