I don't have logging enabled, but that would be a good thing if this were a persistent problem.

The server was running only 17 threads, under my configuration. That's not very many, considering that individual browsers may open multiple. Heck, Netscape Navigator used to keep alive 8-9 connections for just one user. I think IE typically keeps 2, active.

My understanding is that each persistent connection ties up one HTTP server thread, so I could see how my configuration might cause a lock-up.

Just wanting to compare notes with other sites.

Did you find anything in your IFS logs? (i.e.
