New PC with WIN 7, what php client should I use? -- WEB400

I am currently using version 5.5.0 of zend studio for i5 os. I did the
latest version the when I first started developing last year. I had problems
making a connect to htdocs. A former co-worker told me to use the version
mentioned. It works, but was wondering what is the most current and stable
version of the developer that I should use.
