The message seems to imply that it can't do a DNS lookup on whatever the host name is... that it's trying, and getting back a "not found" response.
Very strange.
I assume it works for you from the command line?

I have just downloaded and starting to work with this...
I think I have SSH set up properly,
I am executing the example6 program which attempts to run the following
command:
cmd = 'ssh xxxxxx3.xxxxxxx.com ps axww "|" +
grep boxrelay "|" grep -v grep';
and I receive:
ssh: xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.com: Hostname and service name not provided or
found
The system i user I am using is set up in SSH (has a .ssh directory)
( I got a "go away!" message with a different profile)
Does this message mean that I need to have some key?
