So you mean more of a screen scrapper? If that's the case there are plenty
of 3rd party applications.

Now, if you're talking about the PHP 5250 Bridge, I don't think that would
be a screen scrapper. I've never used it, but my understanding is that you
still have to design the PHP page, it just takes the 5250 data (not sure if
it's the stream or scrapes the screen) and you can put it where you want on
the page. It uses Java to somehow "bridge" the 5250 data and allow PHP to
access it.

I've never done PHP before, but it looks like (from the demo) that is uses a
custom zend_5250* object? (not sure if they are referred to as objects).

Here is a link to the Zend PHP Bridge,
http://www.zend.com/products/platform/i5os/5250. They have a very simple
example there. It looks pretty basic, but should give you the idea.

If you are referring to IBM WebFacing, I would stay away from that
personally. I can't remember if it's WebFacing or HATS, but one of them ONLY
works on Internet Explorer and probably not IE 8. While these seem to be an
easy solution the code that get's generated cannot be modified and is quite
messy IMHO.

One initiative I have for this next year is to research "webfacing" some
applications. I know there is a PHP 5250 connector through the Zend
Platform
of i5/OS. Is there something similar for .NET? While I am open to any
ideas,
right now I am taking the webfacing type of approach.

I am just seeking some information at this time.
