What is the "state of the nation" currently with perl on iseries? Particularly in relation to web applications. We had installed perl in the past in order to run some scripts that a 3rd party software vendor had done in perl but they have since moved away from that tool. We are currently looking to purchase a web based survey tool that is a PC designer application but the survey is then published to a perl enabled web server. Vendor says it will work with any web server that has perl support so I would assume Apache/perl will work. The survey tool does not use a database of any kind, just flat files to store the results.
