Hello Don,

We have customers doing this using our iSeries Office Integrator
technology.

You can call one of our CL commands from a RPG or CL program to automate
printing specific PDF documents from the IFS or LAN directory.

If you're open to a discussion I will have one of our sales team contact
you.

subject: [WEB400] Including part drawing with Shop Packet print

Anyone doing anything like this?

We produce a Shop Packet print from a straight RPG program. We also
have a drawings database stored on a Windows server - but the search
index for those drawings is stored on the System i and we now use a
System i HTTP app. to search the index and bring up a particular pdf
drawing for a separate printout.

Would there be a way to automatically call up the drawing from the RPG
Shop Order packet print so that the drawing would print right after?

TIA
