This is not a web-related question so should be asked on the Midrange-

There is NO version of the OS at 545. There is a version of LIC at
545 for the new hardware. You will be running 540 of the OS on top of
545 LIC. You can always compile back N-2 releases so, yes, 540 will
let you compile and save back to 520 on your new system.
