Unfortunately, the project is done & web developer at install and final test with Dreamweaver 8.
This is a small co, and they have always run a few html pages off the i.
Nothing dynamic or using the database. I wrote the 1st one may years ago, but last 2 generations done by "advertising" companies.
The last is all html with some embedded php forms using a plugin. He tells me the php part is requiring the synchronization with the server and dynamically builds the final script..., otherwise he could just ftp in the code.

Until I abandoned DW a couple of years ago (couldn't justify the silly
price tag) I had been using it with the i for several years - using
the built-in FTP support. It did however always issue an error
message on each transfer relating to inability to create folders and/
or files. Despite the error message it went ahead and did it anyway.
DW support told me that there weren't enough people using i with DW to
make it worth fixing.

i5, ..."

Much as I enjoy using Studio, I have yet to be able to get it to
perform consistently with the i in FTP mode. To make it work
consistently I have had to use the ssh connection - but that isn't
practical for me as I am constantly changing the system that I connect
to and do not have authority to establish ssh on most of them.
