Yes I do use the asp.net ajax control toolkit (its open source) and it has very easy integration with .NET applications. To be honest it would take me a month of Sundays to try write this stuff myself (so well done to the team that developed it)!

It's interesting to see where Microsoft is going with their ajax component toolkit. Yes, the UI widgets are fancy. Is that what you're using?
