Since you use WDSC 7, you can easily get prototypes for java classes in RPG
IV. In an editor for RPIV, right-click somewhere in the source. The menu has
a "New>" item - put your mouse over it - it will open to give you 3 options
- one of them is for Java prototypes. It will ask you to locate the class on
your iSeries IFS. There is at least one thing that RPG cannot handle
properly in the parameters - arrays of objects. My colleague uses those and
had to write some front-end classes to let me work with his web service
classes.
