Where are you near Austin? One of my old stomping grounds. Hot?? How hot?
I betcha it's not that hot but hot and humid. It's been a bit hot here as
we've had a few days above 106 F. Up to 105 if the humidity is around 15% or
below it's not hot at all, except for gringos. However, we are in our monsoon
season now so the humidity is far above 15% but only for certain parts of the
day; nothing like Texas and the South.

On the ASP side, I've used regular ASP, but not with .NET and the .ASP didn't
seem that bad although I'm amazed at how far behind programming is in the way of
design and productivity tools for web apps or perhaps I'm missing something.
If I'm not missing something, Web development is where midrange and mainframe
development was in the 1960-70; very brute force.

According to Richard, my boss, ASP.net is a piece of cake for web pages. He has
done presentations at COMMON on this and VB.net - maybe he'll chime in here -I'm
still officially on vacation but clearing my email backlog.
