Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Has IBM made it any easier to create web services in HATS, or do you
still need to go around your elbow to get to your ***?

It seems the news of WebFacing's demise was a little premature.

Be careful what you read <smile>.

The idea is to use HATS/WebFacing as a bridge to SOA (although I don't
think the WebFacing component will be getting a lot of development
dollars). You can use HATS to quickly web enable key components and
then chart out your strategic direction. For i shops, that typically
means re-engineering work flows into callable programs and then write
EGL wrappers to provide thin- and rich-client support.
